How I got started
From a young age, I was deeply fascinated by the intricate workings of the human body and inspired by the possibilities of healing and improving lives. My early years as a ballet dancer taught me the critical importance of fueling the body properly to enhance movement, stamina, and energy production. This understanding of the body's needs and capabilities led me to become a dance instructor and ultimately pursue a career in medicine, with a specific interest in pediatrics, where I could make a profound impact on children and their families. As I gained more experience, I realized the immense potential of combining traditional medicine with integrative approaches to create holistic, personalized care plans. This drove me to expand my knowledge through specialized training in integrative and homeopathic medicine, allowing me to offer a more comprehensive and versatile approach to health. Every step of my journey has been motivated by a desire to empower families to achieve optimal health and well-being, and to respect and incorporate their unique desires and abilities in the healing process.
With over 20 years of post-residency experience in pediatrics and integrative medicine, I am passionate about enhancing the health and well-being of every individual I have the privilege to serve. My comprehensive training in integrative medicine, along with homeopathic medicine training through CEDH, and licensure across 11 states empower me to offer a multifaceted approach to healthcare. I have extensive expertise in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and I am deeply committed to the principles of natural nutrition, seamlessly integrating natural and allopathic techniques. My practice is rooted in listening intently and adapting to the unique needs and goals of each family, guiding them on a path to reclaim their health, regardless of their starting point.
